Medicare Advantage Plan

What is a Medicare Advantage Plan? Sometimes called “Part C” or “MA Plans,” Medicare Advantage Plans are an all-inclusive policy with Original Medicare. This policy covers all Medicare services and offers extra coverage in vision, hearing, and dental. This is your “one-stop” place for all health and prescription needs. The bottom line is most Medicare Advantage Plans will provide a more affordable coverage than you would receive otherwise. The hard part is that you will need to follow the Medicare Advantage Plan’s rules in order to be covered.

Most Medicare Advantage Plans cover prescription drug coverage (Part D). You can also join a plan for Medicare Prescription Drugs[link to internal site] that covers almost all prescriptions. Do note that you cannot have a Medigap plan with this policy. Since this plan covers almost all services, a Medigap plan will not help.

A Medicare Advantage Plans must cover at least what Medicare covers. Advantage plans, however, have a limited network of doctors to choose from. Our plan may not cover your medical costs if you go out of network.

Pricing for a Medicare Advantage Plan is different for each participant. Depending on doctor visits, prescriptions, and health needs it may cost more. Depending on your plan, each one may charge out-of-pocket costs when you visit doctors or require prescription drugs. Click HERE to contact me today about your needs for a Medicare Advantage Plan.
